If you would like to know more about Kolko & Associates, P.C., and the professional services we offer, or you have specific questions about an immigration issue or case, we encourage and invite you to call or email the office.
For over 12 years, attorney David Kolko has continued the tradition of not charging an initial consultation fee. In this way, you can have the opportunity to discuss your matter personally with Mr. Kolko during a consultation that is offered at no charge.
During the consultation, the Firm and you can explore together the possibility of using the Firm to handle your legal matter.
During the initial intake call, a trained professional staff member will obtain some basic information from you and schedule a consultation in the office or by telephone. The Firm will generally provide you a list of documents and information to gather and bring to your appointment. To make the most of the consultation, it is important to try and organize these items if available and then bring the requested information with you to the meeting.
On the day of the consultation, you will meet with an attorney and professional staff member who will review your case with you. During this review, the Firm will gather additional information from you and provide relevant information about immigration law. The attorney will also explain what legal options may be available to help you with the legal matter.
Most consultations take 30 to 60 minutes depending on the complexity of the issues. During the consultation, you and the attorney will decide whether you want to work together and discuss the case requirements and procedures.
If the firm and you agree to work together, a written representation agreement (Fee Agreement) will be prepared, reviewed and signed by the parties to the case.
