Tina M. Martinez
Office Manager and Administrator

Tina Martinez is the Office Manager and Administrator at Kolko & Associates, P.C.  Tina oversees all aspects of the Firm's business administration and management.  She also supervises and manages removal litigation matters, family-based immigration cases, non-immigrant visas, and naturalization cases.  Tina has worked with Mr. Kolko for more than 18 years and plays an important role  ensuring the smooth running of the firm’s operations. 

Tina has a Paralegal Certificate from the University of Colorado at Denver, and more than 31 years of professional experience as a paralegal, professional legal secretary and administrator at law firms, including those involved with immigration, personal injury, insurance defense, workers' compensation, criminal law, family law, bankruptcy, and real estate. 

Tina has been a member of the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association since 1985. 

In addition to her dedicated professional work, she has personal interests in Native American Culture, children’s rights, health and exercise, and enjoying the outdoors of Colorado. She is also devoted to her family.  Tina has one adult son and two beautiful granddaughters.  Tina is a devoted parent raising two young nieces, while being the proud godmother to 16 children.



Danelle Fifer
Client Services Manager

Danelle Fifer is the Client Services Manager at Kolko & Associates, where she oversees and supervises a broad range of cases including employment based immigrant visa cases, non-immigrant investment cases, non-immigrant workers, international intra-corporate transfers and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).   Danelle has a broad range of experience in the field of immigration and brings over 10 years of professional experience to her work at Kolko & Associates, P.C.

Danelle is a Colorado native and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in history (with a minor in political science) from Colorado State University in 1999.  She has also earned a professional certificate from the Denver Paralegal Institute in 2001.

In addition to her dedication on behalf of her clients at the firm, Danelle is committed to a variety of volunteer projects.  She has made appearances at Legal Night, where she provides free information about immigration law to members of the community.  She also volunteers in the Western History Genealogy Department at the Denver Public Library.  Danelle’s immigration work has heightened her appreciation for world cultures.  She travelled to Italy in 2010, and is planning a trip to Africa in the coming years.

Margaret Mountain
Senior Paralegal

Margaret Mountain is a Senior Paralegal at Kolko & Associates, where she specializes in various complex immigration cases including EB-1 Petitions (extraordinary aliens & athletes), Appeals and Motions.   She has been a valuable member of the firm’s professional staff since 2005.

Margaret earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from Metro State University in 1980 and her Master of Arts Degree in Communication Studies from the University of Northern Colorado in 1990. 

Margaret is a certified mediator and has a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from the Denver Paralegal Institute.  Margaret brings a broad range of professional legal experience to her work at Kolko & Associates, P.C. as she has worked in a variety of legal settings, including the District Attorney’s Office, and in law firms practicing criminal defense, civil litigation, family law, and plaintiff’s personal injury law.

In the 1990’s, Margaret was the legislative aide to the Colorado House Minority Leader, where she encountered the realities and roadblocks of passing legislation.  Margaret has two grown children and has the experience of being a small business owner. 



Hye Jun Yoon
Case Manager

Hye Jun Yoon is a Senior Paralegal at Kolko & Associates, where she currently specializes in employment-based residency, non-immigrant investor visas, religious workers and special immigrant petitions.   She has also gained experience in the field of family-based immigrant cases and she regularly assists the Firm with the needs of all our Korean-speaking clientele.

Hye Jun is a skilled bilingual communicator, and has been one of the firm’s Korean Translators since 2005.  She participates in many client meetings with the attorney and carefully guides the communications between English & Korean.  Her duties have included interpreting at immigration interviews and at the Immigration Court, as well as supervising the firm’s document translation services.   She has also assisted with translating at legal seminars before several Korean Civic Associations.

Hye Jun is a proud 2009 graduate of the University of Colorado, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.  She is a member of the Public Accountants Society of Colorado.   She is also involved with many outdoor activities, her family and the community. 

Ye Rin Sung
Legal Assistant

Ye Rin Sung

Ye Rin Sung joined the Kolko and Associates, P.C. in June 2014 where she works as legal assistant and Korean translator. Ye Rin graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. While she was attending CU, she participated in the Advancement via Individual Determination (AVID) Program which supports first-generation college-bound students.

After graduation, Ye Rin worked as an administrative and marketing assistant with a research based program that helps non-native speakers overcome their English Speech disadvantage. From her interactions with scores of international students and their families, her passion to understand different cultures led her to the field of immigration law.

Ye Rin was born in South Korea, and has been living in United States for the past 10 years. She enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and trying out different ethnic food.


Gicela Paccione
Administrative  Specialist

Gicela Paccione is an Administrative Specialist whose concentration is in finance and administration. Since joining Kolko & Associates, P.C. in 2012, Gicela has specialized in accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reports, banking and billable hours. She also assists in professional translations and interpretations as well as any other special projects within the Firm.

Prior to joining the Firm, Gicela worked at an international relocation company as a Global Specialist focusing on the worldwide relocations for Fortune 500 clients. 

From 2003 to 2010, Gicela held a prominent position at the Mexican Consulate in Denver. Her position required firsthand experience in immigration and legal matters for Mexican citizens currently residing in the state of Colorado and Wyoming. She provided assistance in various aspects of identity documentation such as Passports, Consular Identification Cards, and Birth Certificates. 

Gicela is a native of Mexico and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She moved to Denver in 2002 and is a proud citizen of the United States. She enjoys physical fitness, being a part of her church choir, and has a strong dedication to her family and community.

Leanne (Gun Jeung) Grealy 
Paralegal and Korean Translator

 Leanne Grealy (formerly Gun Jeung Lee) joined Kolko & Associates, P.C. in 2015.

Leanne is an experienced Korean and English bilingual translator and interpreter. Prior to joining our team, she had the dual role of an ESL teacher and liaison in between English speaking staff and Korean speaking staff at various private schools in South Korea.

Leanne was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. In 2004, she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics from the Ohio State University. In her free time, Leanne enjoys reading, playing music, knitting and spending time with her family.


Valentina Contreras

Valentina Contreras

Valentina earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Affairs and Spanish from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2012. It was in college where she developed her passion for immigration and education, teaching in bilingual schools and after school programs, as well as volunteering for a number of nonprofits. Valentina has been working as an immigration paralegal since 2013, where she has become experienced in family based cases, waivers and removal proceedings.

Valentina is a native of Chile, but she has resided in the United States for thelast 11 years. She enjoys traveling, volunteering and hiking.

Erika Tamez

Erika Tamez is a Paralegal for Kolko & Associates, P.C., where she specializes in family-based immigration, waivers of inadmissibility, and naturalization. Erika has more than five years of experience in immigration law and is bilingual in English and Spanish. She joined Kolko & Associates, P.C. in 2015 and is excited to be part of such a professional, hard-working team helping clients achieve their immigration goals in the United Sates.

Erika was born and raised in San Diego, California and relocated to Colorado from Texas with her family in 2014. After moving to Colorado, she immediately fell in love with the beautiful scenery, weather, and the friendly people.

In her free time, Erika likes to cook, bake, read a good book, and spend quality time with her family.


Owen Ziegler

Owen Ziegler joined Kolko & Associates, P.C. in August of 2015.

Owen is a Colorado native and a 2013 graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, graduating summa cum laude. Owen is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and has been working as a professional paralegal and interpreter since 2013.

Owen serves as the Communications Chair on the Board of the Colorado LGBT Bar Association as well as the Board of the Gender Identity Center, the Rocky Mountain Region’s largest community and healthcare center for transgender and gender variant people.

Owen’s work often focuses on vulnerable populations, including asylum seekers, LGBT immigrants, and victims of crimes.

In his free time, Owen volunteers translation and interpretation services for the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN), and spends time enjoying Colorado with his wife and puppy.

Aminta Menjivar
Legal Assistant

Aminta Menjivar is a Legal Assistant at Kolko & Associates, P.C., were she focuses on family-based immigration cases.  Aminta was born in El Salvador and immigrated to the United States when she was ten years old.  As a result, Aminta has experienced U.S. Immigration Law first-hand; she was undocumented for nearly ten years and is now a beneficiary of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).

Aminta is a 2014 graduate of the University of Denver (DU), where she studied International Business.  While at DU, Aminta was a Puksta Scholar, mentoring  undocumented high school students to help them realize their dream of a college education.  

Aminta's passion to help make the U.S. Immigration System more human led her to volunteer at a family immigration detention center in Dilley, Texas where she helped Central American asylum seekers remain in the United States to fight their cases for asylum protection.

Aminta is bilingual in English and Spanish and also speaks conversational Japanese and Portuguese.   In her free time, Aminta enjoys reading, learning about languages and cultures, and spending time with family and friends.


Jose Amezola

Jose Amezola Beltran joined Kolko & Associates, P.C. as a paralegal in May of 2016. Prior to joining Kolko & Associates Jose worked as an immigration paralegal at a Boulder, Colorado immigration firm where he obtained extensive experience working with immigrant crime victims, preparing U nonimmigrant applications, VAWA applications, family-based immigration as well as immigrant and non-immigrant waivers of inadmissibility.

Jose was born in Mexico and moved to the United States at the age of 10. He is fluent in Spanish.  Jose graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese in May of 2015 and continues to pursue his interest in East Asian history and literature.

As a living kidney donor, Jose is a passionate advocate for organ donation and serves as a mentor with the American Transplant Foundation in Denver. He is also a recipient of the Gift of Life Award presented to altruistic living organ donors who have made a remarkable impact in the transplant community. In his free time, Jose enjoys weight lifting as well as home organization.

Veronica Torok

Veronica Torok joined Kolko & Associates, P.C., as a paralegal and relocated to Colorado in July 2017.

Veronica earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Communications from Fordham University, where she graduated summa cum laude. Veronica’s professional experience includes working in New York City as an immigration paralegal for a non-profit organization, working as an English as a Second Language Teacher in Spain, and facilitator of study abroad and international student exchange programs at the university level.

Veronica grew up in a military family and has lived in eight states and three countries. Moving nationally and internationally taught Veronica the importance of cultural exchange and how to deal with the challenges of starting over. She is committed to helping immigrants and refugees build successful lives in their adopted country.

Veronica plays soccer, runs, hikes, skis and climbs, and enjoys reading and drawing.



Mayra Zamora
Client Services Assistant

Mayra A. Zamora joined Kolko & Associates, P.C. at the end of 2016 as Client Services Assistant.

Mayra assists our clients in scheduling new consultations and appointments. She prepares professional document translations, provides interpretation and assists with special administrative tasks within the Firm.

Prior to joining Kolko & Associates, P.C., Mayra gained experience working in the legal field at criminal defense and immigration law firms. Mayra is passionate about immigration, our clients and ensuring that our clients are treated with the utmost respect and receive the highest level of customer service.

A native of Durango, Mexico, Mayra is fluent in Spanish and English. She currently attends the Community College of Denver and is working towards an Associate’s Degree in Political Science. Mayra is also a member of the Dreamers United Organization where members help other students continue their dreams of a higher education regardless of their legal status.

In her free time, Mayra enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, reading and traveling.



Chelsea Quilling

Chelsea Quilling joined Kolko & Associates, P.C. as a paralegal in July 2017. Prior to joining Kolko & Associates, Chelsea worked as an immigration paralegal for a high-volume business immigration practice focusing on nonimmigrant matters. She has worked in the field of immigration since 2014 and is especially passionate about the unique immigration challenges facing employers.

In 2012, Chelsea earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American Studies from Gonzaga University. While at Gonzaga, Chelsea completed an internship with the Department of State’s diplomatic mission to La Paz, Bolivia.

Chelsea is passionate about community service. Her professional and volunteer experience has centered on intercultural exchange. She is an active member of WorldDenver, a non-profit organization which engages the public, civic leaders and politicians in dialogue on global issues. She also volunteers Naturalization clinics and welcome events for newly arrived refugees.

Chelsea is a Colorado native and loves the outdoors. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, rowing, making art, and cooking.
